We have a strong sense of responsibility and a resolute purpose that supports the restoration of Pacific people’s identities. We are tautai or way finders, helping people recover their past, strengthen their present, and envision their future through the restoration of their languages and cultures.

At the Centre for Pacific Languages, we provide free language courses for Pacific communities, cultural competency workshops for corporations and businesses, and Pacific language translation services for clients in Aotearoa New Zealand, the Pacific, and around the world. Our courses are facilitated by a tutor, and classes are taught online with digital learning resources available to you once you enrol.

We have highly respected language and culture experts who can translate your documents into 9 key Pacific languages.

Our cultural experts can also support your organisation by creating bespoke Koloa professional development opportunities for your governance, management and staff.
